Iron tank is normally used for transformer oil storage or transportation during substation maintenance. However, there are many disadvantages of iron tank: 1. It’s bulky and heavy that increase the labor cost and brings inconvenience to transportation, especial in complex terrain. 2. It’s easily corrosive and requires regular maintenance that also increases the cost. 3. Bad sealing may pollute the oil, which poses risks to transformer operation.

It’s small, light and foldable with high strength, good sealing effect and excellent oil resistance, which enhance the maintenance quality and efficiency for power grid transformers and other equipment.

Flexibag and iron tank truck are normally used for transportation of industrial oil and non-dangerous chemical liquid. Flexibag is commonly made of PE and PP, which is easily damaged when bumped and only for one time used. The transportation cost is also very high if you keep buying new flexibags. Iron tank truck is comparatively save but the delivery charge is very high.
