Integral-forming rubber bag

Rubber bag is applied in transformer oil conservator as a compensation system for the volume change of transformer oil caused by thermal expansion and contraction. It can also avoid the direct contact between the transformer oil and air to reduce the oil deterioration. So rubber bag plays an important role in transformer safe operation. Integral-forming rubber bag is widely used in the world due to its uniform quality, suitable structure and long service life. ABB, SIEMENS, GE and domestic 500kV major projects all require integral-forming rubber bag. However, it costs a lot with long delivery time by importing integral-forming rubber bags from other countries. SHIRE research team tried 8 major formulas, chose hundreds of material ratios and overcame difficulties in 4 main production process to successfully develop the world leading integral-forming, pillow shaped (IPS) rubber bag in 2 years, which is widely used and changes the 30 years history of rubber bag production in China.

SHIRE IPS rubber bag is manufactured by professional large scale equipment by vulcanization under high temperature and pressure. No solvent or talcum is used to be environmentally friendly, zero pollution to the transformer oil and enhance the quality and service life. World leading technology guarantee the safe operation in HV, UHV and EHV transformers.

1、Material: Industrial First 2 Material Rubber Coated Fabrics

“Air side rubber - fabric - oil side rubber” 2 material structure replaces traditional same material structure.

Air side rubber focuses on gas impermeability and air aging resistance, oil side rubber focuses on oil resistance and wearing proof.

2、Technology: China first and patent certified rubber bag integral-forming technology. More endurable and reliable.

Integral-forming technology replaces traditional manual glue sticking process. Rubber bag is

manufactured by large scale equipment under high temperature and pressure.

No glue is used in seaming places to enhance the seaming strength, gas impermeability and long service life.

No manual glue sticking to guarantee more reliable uniform quality.

3、Structure: China first metal flange with better strength and gas impermeability

Metal flange replaces traditional rubber flange.

Metal flange is much stronger than rubber flange, which can withstand the huge stress caused by partial vacuum between flange and oil conservator.

Metal flange can solve the problem of gas and water leakage caused by air aging of rubber flange.

1、Comparing to traditional manual glue sticking process, SHIRE integral-forming technology has better uniform quality and completely solves the problem of leakage.

2、Comparing to traditional manual glue sticking process, SHIRE integral-forming technology adopts high temperature and pressure vulcanization by large scale equipment, which can improve seaming strength and air impermeability.

3、Comparing to traditional manual glue sticking process, SHIRE integral-forming rubber bag adopts 2 material structure, which has better aging resistance and longer service life.

4、Compared to traditional rubber flange, SHIRE integral-forming rubber bag adopts metal flange, which is stronger, leakage and corrosion proof and can withstand huge stress caused by partial vacuum between flange and oil conservator to completely solve the gas and water leakage problem of rubber flange.

5、Comparing to traditional manual glue sticking process, integral-forming technology doesn’t use talcum to guarantee zero pollution to transformer oil.
