China West Electric Power Company has successfully developed the generator transformer with the largest capacity of 1000 KV

A few days ago, the domestic 1000-kilovolt 400-megavolt single-phase generator boost transformer with the largest capacity of 1000-kilovolt voltage class has been successfully developed in China West Power. The product meets or surpasses the requirements of national standards and technical agreements. The successful development of the product further enhances the technical strength of XD brand in the field of UHV boost transformer, and accumulates valuable experience for the follow-up development of UHV boost transformer.

In recent years, with the active promotion of clean energy power generation in the power generation industry, 1000 kv power transformer has gradually become the preferred product for many power plants due to its long transmission distance and large transmission capacity.

In 2016, Xidian Transformer, which belongs to China West Power Company, undertook the research and development task of the UHV transformer for the 2 x 1000MW project of Leilongwan Power Plant of Shaanxi Energy Zhaoshibian Coal and Electricity Co., Ltd. Based on the current national standard and on the basis of the existing design and manufacturing technology of 1000 KV transformer, aiming at the problems of large capacity, high voltage level, large weight, large volume, strict loss requirements and difficult transportation of this product, the company has made further technological innovation and scientific research on the overall structure of the single-phase 1000 KV single-phase generator boost transformer, and optimized the electrical system. The design scheme, internal insulation structure, impedance, loss, temperature rise and insulation performance are calculated systematically. It ensures that the product has the characteristics of compact structure, low material consumption, light weight, small volume, low noise, energy saving and environmental protection.

On Nov. 19, the boost transformer of 1000 KV 400 MV single-phase generator with the largest capacity of 1000 KV voltage class in China was successfully developed at one time in the enterprise affiliated to China West Power Group. The product meets or surpasses the requirements of national standards and technical agreements. It is an UHV transformer for the 2 x1000MW project of Leilongwan Power Plant of Shaanxi Energy Zhaoshibian Coal and Electricity Co., Ltd. The success of product development has further enhanced the technical strength of XD brand in the field of UHV boost transformer, accumulated valuable experience for the follow-up development of UHV boost transformer, consolidated and promoted the leading level and leading position of West Power West Transformer in UHV transmission equipment.
